People who are suffering from this type of tension headache may also suffer from sensitivity to light or noise at some point. During an attack, the slightest noise could aggravate the pain. Infrequent Episodic Tension Headache

Frequent episodic tension headache has more or less the same symptoms as the infrequent episodic tension headache. The only difference here is that you get more headaches in a month and at longer periods. The pain is usually mild to moderate and physical activity does not increase the pain level.
Chronic Tension Headache
This type of tension headache is really bad. The headache could last for about 15 days at its worst. People who are suffering from this type of ailment could experience nausea and vomiting due to the pain. The worst part of it is that like migraines, this type of tension headache does not respond well to medications.
